Summary
When Karin sleeps, she dreams of an exciting city filled with warriors—and the shinigami have no idea what to make of the strange ryoka terrorizing the Seireitei each night.
If the handful of Captains and seated officers she’d managed to wrap around her finger had known that she was tangled up in a web of illegal situations, perhaps they wouldn’t have concocted a lie to protect her. A lie that gets more convoluted by the day, as she shows signs of not only shinigami abilities, but also Quincy powers—and maybe something else lurking under the surface, too.
Everyone knew it was only a matter of time before the secrets unraveled, and keeping them hidden was a dangerous game… but getting under people’s skin and earning their allegiance was somewhat of a family trait.
