Summary
Every Halloween one of the local churches hosted a pop up blood drive. And every year, despite not going to church regularly since she moved out of her mom’s house, Frankie would go donate blood. Something about giving blood was relaxing, needles generally just seemed to calm her. It wasn’t a sex thing. The feeling of the miniscule metal poking through her skin, made for the sole purpose of taking something out or putting something new in, felt good. Okay maybe it was a little a sex thing, but mostly she liked to feel like she was helping by giving blood.
