Her eyes darted towards the email address still visible at the top of her screen.
She had opened countless emails from this account a lifetime ago.
Her finger moved before her brain could, and the video began to download. Too late to go back now; she was halfway down, and the ledge was only getting further and further away now.
Eventually, it had fully downloaded; she opened the file and was greeted by an odd sense of déjà vu.
It was him.Had somebody found another log?
But how was he outside?
Her brain was failing her; surely, this was a stress-induced hallucination or a dream, yes. She was simply oversleeping, and any second now she would wake up and file this under things she doesn't look into too deeply.
