In the aftermath of Xuanfang, Rover sets out in search of the Cat of the Netherlamp, using the excuse of returning his pendant to mask the feelings she isn't quite ready to confront. For Jingran, meanwhile, surviving their battle in the Tian Realm was one thing; learning to imagine a tomorrow worth living is another.
