Summary
Chad Danforth never thought that he would find himself here—washed up, past thirty, teaching at a high school, and divorced. Basically, everything in his life has gone up in flames. No longer being able to play his favorite sport, and coming off of an exhausting (although amicable) separation, Chad decides that it's time to focus on what he can control. Primarily, raising his daughter. As long as she's happy and healthy, Chad thinks that he can manage to be as well.
But when an old friend from high school stumbles back into his life, Chad's world gets just a little more interesting.

Summary
After over a year dating Ryan Evans, and after months of living together under one roof with Chad's daughter Monica, Chad thinks that he's ready to tell the world that he's in love.
It's a bit daunting, coming out to his ex-wife Taylor, his parents, and his best friends, but Chad won't keep his love for Ryan a secret any longer. They plan to take care of it over the holiday season, and Chad is equally excited and nervous for everyone in his life to know the man who stole his heart. The question is if he can get through this holiday season without becoming a total nervous wreck.
