Taehyung wasn't afraid of heights, but to have been stuck up there all day with nothing but his wild imagination? Jin didn't think it would have been in any way pleasant; the constant threat of falling, the uncomfortable sensation of a too full bladder, the gravitational unbalance.

Tae's eyes were dry but half-lidded, appearing a little glassy beneath clumpy lashes, and even taking into consideration the contrast of the mud, Jin wasn't comfortable with the washed-out greyness of his cheeks.
Seemingly equally stumped by the dilemma (Food? Bath? Hugs?), Namjoon swiveled his hopeful gaze to Jin.
And yeah. Jin hadn't turned down that face since the first onion incident. And he never would again.

A tall man with a shock of dark hair and a broad smile appears from the path to the little girl's left, waving in the overexaggerated manner one often uses with young children. Her returned smile and wave are bright, a natural, familiar gesture.
Taking her hand, they start walking away, the man grinning down, swinging their joined arms and lifting to make her 'fly' every so often.
She's looking up at him, smiling- and Taehyung knows he's probably wrong, knows it. But she's so beautiful and so young, so innocent.... that he can't not.
Can't not get to his feet and slowly wander after them.

Summary
They'd drifted away from the plane with the current, into darkness and expanse. The crash of wave against wave the only sound that echoed beyond their softly spoken words, sparse and meager in the abyss that was the ocean around them. The light at his shoulder was now the only source of illumination, and Jin knew that it was the tiniest speck of brightness, lost against the black backdrop.
He'd fleetingly had the thought- 'Is this how I die?' more than once. A plane crash?
Although technically he supposed, he's survived the plane crash.It would be drowning for him. Pleasant.
"Hyung-" Jimin's voice was whispered, raspy from breathing through the salty spray and lack of use- but Jin could still hear the disbelief and wonder. Turning, he saw what had Jimin ensnared as the younger spoke.
