The lights dim and the projector whirls to life. Lance stares at the pictures that are splashed across the screen.
He should have known that they'd go with the iconic Aston Martin racing green, but it's tweaked. Just a bit.
Lance has seen that color before. Lance sees that color on his wrist every single time he wipes the concealer away.
It's the same color as the “14” marked on his skin, as his soulmark.
He must make a sound, because Seb raises an eyebrow, pokes his arm lightly.
Lance shakes his head, digs his thumb into his bracelet and swallows hard. He can't run from this anymore. Not with proof staring at him. Not with Fernando rejoining the grid.
