Seventeen-year-old Jerin Whistler, the Prince Consort, does his best to be a good husband to all ten of his wives. For the elder set, nearer his age or a little older, that means pleasing them in the bedroom. For the younger set, like Zelie, all not yet ten, it means spending time with them in the playroom. He would never complain of being bored. He's grown up with seventeen youngest sisters and a handful of brothers, after all - he can usually handle five little girls' boisterous antics.
But sometimes, even his child brides are a little exhausting. So when he dozes off while playing battle during the youngests' history reenactment for the first time, nine-year-old Zelie takes charge.
