Summary
Based on the alternate universe the Paladins travel to in Season 3 Episode 4, Hole in the Sky, where instead of the Galra Empire conquering the universe, Allura became an Empress and Altea conquered the universe instead.
A year after the disappearance of the crew of the Kerberos mission Shiro crash landed back on earth in an alien ship, and he insisted Earth was in danger. The Altean Empire was coming, and he needed to find Voltron. Fast forward several hours, and one pilot, three cadets, one drop out, one Altean alchemist, and one Galra commander have the fate of the universe placed on their shoulders.
I was posting every Tuesday for a bit, but school’s kicking my ass so updates will be sporadic for a hot sec, also I found a new hyperfixation so motivation is hard to come by… I’m not abandoning the fic tho, just updating irregularly

Summary
Instead of just Allura giving her life to save the Universe, all the paladins had to sacrifise themselves to achieve their goal.
This didn't mean their end, however. Reborn in a different reality where the Alteans overtook the Universe, it seems like they'll have to fight the battle all over again.
Atleast the paladins regain their memories sooner or later in life, the only problem ?
Lance and Allura were reborn as altean nobility and have not yet regained their memories.

The story goes that Voltron once saved Earth but the mechanic vessel disappeared for decades and recently discovered by the Garrison.
Keith is undercover as a soldier; since Voltron was found, Keith attempts to gain information until some thief named Lance tries to steal Voltron. Suddenly the two now have a quintessence bond!
With Voltron relying on it’s two new pilots to power up the vessel, Keith and Lance attempt to save Earth while Lance is on a personal journey to figure out some lost memories—
All while Keith and Lance try to figure out the affects of a quintessence bond.

Emperor Lotor, leader of the Galra Empire, has a few too many enemies to extinguish thanks to his father. With rebel factions, the Blade of Marmora, the Altean Empire; he doesn't need the Altean's hiring mercenaries of all things. Yet they did, and in a cell on Central Command, Lotor meets one of these illusive mercenaries from the 'Paladin's of Voltron', a rather amusing, but crude, alien boy who looks barely out of his teenage years, and certainly not what Lotor was expecting Empress Allura to hire. This little jester may think he's funny, but Lotor will make sure Lance doesn't have the last laugh. No: he will.
What better way to do so then reduce the boy his personal sex slave?

After Shiro's rescue from the Galra, Keith joins his brother and three other people outside his shack to discuss infiltration into the Galra Unseelie Court in the Fae Pocket. The introductions go fine until Keith recognizes a face from his past. He doesn't handle it well.
