you're a skeptical police officer who thinks dante's a drug addict because surely demons don't exist - of course, until you get a chunk almost bitten out of you by one. despite how you should probably quit your job and live a life demon free after that likely traumatizing experience that ended up with you briefly hospitalized, you can't help but gravitate towards this strange man.

Il se pencha en avant, les coudes appuyés sur le bureau, écoutant attentivement le récit de Rion sur cette nuit fatidique. Les pièces du puzzle commençaient à se mettre en place, et Dante sentait la gravité de la situation peser sur lui. Il ne s'agissait pas d'une infestation démoniaque ordinaire, c'était clair.
Il avait le pressentiment que cette affaire allait être d'une ampleur considérable, mais il s'y était préparé. Après tout, c'était sa raison d'être : traquer et tuer les démons qui menaçaient les innocents. Et en ce moment même, ces deux jeunes filles demandaient son aide. “Très bien, et combien tu vas me payer pour ça, ma belle ?”

Dante crois pouvoir profiter d'une pause après sa dernière mission, mais le destin en a décider autrement. Mais après avoir appris la situation et (surtout) le montant de sa généreuse rémunération, il se sent vraiment exciter par le fait de l'accepter. Mais cette fille aux cheveux noir ne lui présage rien de bon. Est-ce seulement son imagination? Plus important encore, sera-t-il capable de vaincre ce démon ?
