Summary
Eclipse had accepted that he was losing his mind. Eclipse had accepted that after all this was over that his third and most likely final demise would come at the hands of the one who shared the face of his oldest enemy. There was no mercy or redemption left for him, Moon had made that crystal clear.
Eclipse had even come to, for the most part, accept the phantom whispers and the strange characters that only he could see and hear--imaginary "friends" they called themselves, what nonsense.
What Eclipse could not accept however was the black dog that sat at his feet tonight.
