Summary
I’ll be honest, I didn’t really like Fandroid at first. I just saw him as some annoying little kid. But over time, Fandroid grew on me. Sure, I messed with him sometimes, but he was so important to me. People might call us best friends, but to me? Fandroid is the little brother that I never had, the little brother I never knew I needed.
And I need to find him.
I need to find my little brother.
After the events of her stream in the vents, Melody rushes to find Fandroid, only to realize that she was too late.

Stasis. It was a funny word. To others, it was just another way to say coma.
To Melody, it was the worst and longest three years of her life.

Summary
One would have thought that after the incident, after all the human employees of ADHOC had died, Fandroid’s world would have grown at least a little bit, but sadly that just wasn’t the case.
If anything, it’d made him flee into a much smaller one, one that he’d made in the safety of his own mind.

Summary
The journal was in her hands, and her fingers were flipping through the pages, mostly to give her appendages something to do. Melody knew she shouldn’t read this—she knew better than to read other people’s personal diaries. It was Fandroid’s property, the right and mature thing would be to put it back where it belonged.
But on the other hand, an odd curiosity gnawed at Melody’s insides, the journal shaking in her grasp.
Melody is many things. Mature, yes, as her purpose was to care for others. But she's also a little bit snoopy, which ends in her deciding to poke through Fandroid's journal one night, leading to her discovering something about her best friend that even she didn't know.
