Summary
The Disney well is a deep resource to plumb. For December 2025, I will be doing just that! Each day, I will post a drabble (100-1,000 words) about a different Disney franchise. These drabbles will each stand on their own.

Drabble 8 (Kim Possible): Anything is possible for Kim Possible. But making something new of one's self, well, that's more daunting than her usual foes.
Drabble 9 (Lilo & Stitch): Experiment 626 has crash-landed on Earth and found himself far, far outside his comfort zone.
Drabble 10 (The Incredibles, Career): Mom Helen Parr is very proud of her family. Elastigirl is hesitant to see her offspring take up the burden her profession requires. Or is it vice versa?
Drabble 11 (The Jungle Book 2): Shanti never expected a routine trip down to the river to bring back water would instead turn into her very own meet-cute.
Drabble 12 (The Ghost and Molly McGee, Attic): Molly's tactic of putting a positive spin on anything will be tested by a new home and an unexpected haunting.

It's so cold.
Even your limbs felt the bitter nip of frost, your skin turning blue as your teeth chattered uncontrollably. You were too scared to leave your hiding spot, hidden under a pine tree and covered by snow until the morning sun rise. In the middle of the night, something or someone attacked your family campsite.
Screams.
Flesh tearing.
And the unmistakable sound of bones snapping.

Tim was used to the cold. Truly. He’d lived in Gotham his whole life–all 12 years of it–and his parents often lowered the heat when they were gone on business trips in the winter. He was used to being cold.
It’s just that this cold was different. There had been a snowstorm raging outside for the past 3 days, causing the power to go out earlier in the day, which meant no heat. Now it was nearing 8pm and Tim was cold.
It was the type of cold that seeped into your bones and made you forget what it was like to feel warmth. This cold spread across Tim’s skin and grew its roots into his bloodstream like a weed.

The Sign flared, a dull gold shimmer, before the creature struck. The impact threw him back, the shield cracking like ice. Steel rang on talon. Feathers and fur filled his vision. The beast shrieked, a sound that clawed the air apart.
Jaskier’s shout was lost in the roar.
Geralt rolled, came up on one knee, slashed low. The blade met hide and bit shallowly — not enough. The griffin reared, blood spattering the snow, wings beating with hurricane force. Geralt’s hood was torn away.
Another strike — a flash of claws — and pain like fire seared across his ribs. He stumbled back, breath torn from him. Quen guttered and failed.
