"Um.. sorry again." Hinata extends a hand for the white haired guy, offering him help.
However, the other boy was looking at him, then his uniform, and then him again. Frowning for some reason.
"Great. Just just my luck. I'm all wet thanks to a reserve course student." The white haired boy grumbles, glaring daggers at Hinata.
Hinata winces. Of course, he expected that to happen.
"I'm sorry again. I can make it up to you." Hinata says, in an ashamed tone.
"I don't need a reserve course student's help." And with that, the guy slaps Hinata's hand away, standing up on his own.
Hinata didn't like the tone the guy was using. He may be a reserve course student, but he still has dignity.

It’s finally here. Our last day on Jabberwock Island. To be honest, when I got here, I was super worried about the “why” and “how” of this whole school trip. I mean, we first met in a classroom at Hope’s Peak Academy and were then somehow secretly transported to an uninhabited island without warning. And after introducing myself to everyone else here, I felt isolated because they all seemed way too accepting of our situation. But after a while, I finally realized the truth. We were supposed to be here. Usami really was only here to protect us. Hell, on our first day here, she fought and won against a weird black and white (tanuki?) (bear?) something, just to keep us safe. By now, I realize that I was just being paranoid for no good reason.
There was never any danger on this island. I can finally say that with full confidence.
…
But if that really is true, if I’m just overthinking things, why do I still have this same unshakable feeling of dread? The same way I felt on our first day here? This whole school trip has been great for all of us. So why am I so worried that there’s something awful waiting for us the moment we get home?I’m sure it’s just my imagination.
That’s gotta be it.

In front of him stood a girl. She looked at him with an odd sort of expression, eyes half-lidded in sleepiness and mouth slightly ajar. She carried a small pale pink handheld gaming console, half-tucked into the sleeves of the oversized purple hoodie she wore over her school uniform in place of the regular blazer. He was struck at once with a sense of familiarity so strong it was baffling.
She stood in front of his desk quietly and he stared for a moment too long before he realized with a jolt that she was waiting for a response.
“Hello?” he said. “Sorry, is there something you need?”
She blinked at him slowly before shaking her head. “Hm, no… I was just wondering if I knew you. I feel like I do, but… have you always been in this class?”Hinata Hajime is a perfectly ordinary student at Hope's Peak Academy, a school full of perfectly ordinary students. With no friends and no dreams other than getting into a good college, very little happens in his life. That is, until one of his classmates asks him to join her perfectly ordinary club.
