On the other side of it was a larger party than Maglor had ever seen in Lórien—five figures sitting in the grass. Huan barked again, and they all looked up. “It seems everyone has come to fetch us home,” Maedhros said, laughing, as all their brothers scrambled to their feet.
After years in Lórien, Maglor and Maedhros are ready to return to their family and to make something new with their lives--but to move forward, all of Fëanor's sons must decide how, or if, they can ever reconcile with their father.

But peace never lasts forever: The Festival of the Trees is appoaching, the moment of the year were Laurelin and Telperion's lights shine brighter. It should be a moment of celebration, but instead it will be a moment of darkness like no one has ever seen.
WARNING: This fic is much darker than the last, due to the themes of tragedy, captivity and torture. You better have some tissues with you, because this will be a very emotional read. Seriously, I cried while writting this. Have a good read!

There’s a tension that grows whenever Nolofinwë and Fëanáro are in the same room, and if left unchecked it tends to get ugly. Ingoldo could do something about it — it usually falls to him or Mother anyway — but he shouldn’t have to manage his family on the single, solitary day of the year that’s supposed to be about him.
Or: The family dinner goes as well as it ever does, which is to say not well at all. This wouldn’t be so terrible if it weren’t also Finarfin’s begetting day.
