*This is the same story as my other fanfiction, but a No-Vore version for those who aren't comfortable.
I begin the fanfiction with all of them entering through the roof of the Imperial Dragon Hospital, with Hyunjin in critical condition. To summarize the first part of the fanfiction, Hyunjin swallows a rare and deadly cursed manticore that severely harms Hyunjin. Hyunjin is a gargantuan, iridescent dragon to his seven riders and saves them from getting hurt by the manticore; however, he accidentally swallows the four riders along with the manticore, and they do their best to save Hyunjin when they find out he was repeatedly stabbed in the stomach by the beast. I skipped all the details and went straight to Hyunjin being treated. Currently, Hyunjin is the only hybrid and transformed into his human form. Hyunjin struggles through his transformation as they all do their best to save him.

Changbin lets himself get lost in the laughter, the light noise the only thing tethering him to the present as his mind reels with images. Scandalous, scandalous images of Seungmin, all pretty in a collar for him.
He pinches the skin of his thigh between two fingers, digging his nails in, anything to distract from those thoughts. This is simply play. Another game, a tug-of-war with each other’s patience. That thin remaining strand of patience nearly snaps when, after finally steeling his resolve and looking down at Seungmin, Changbin finds he’s already looking right back. There’s a contemplative mirth in the curve of his smile.
“I would, you know.”
Snapped back into the moment, Changbin frowns. “Huh?”
“I’d wear it.”

He knows he’s holding his crayon too tight, the colorful strokes getting darker and more jagged as he just gets more frustrated with himself. He didn’t choose the right colors, his coloring is too messy, he just can’t color inside the lines.

Changbin is being fostered by Minho and Chan as part of a loving family of eight, although everything he's known tells him he doesn't actually belong. He's not as normal or perfect as his brothers, especially Hyunjin, and his brain is always waiting for the other shoe to drop. It takes a coloring session gone wrong for him to be reminded that he is loved and supported unconditionally, and that despite his doubts his family wants him forever.
