Michael and Evan don't really have a great brotherly relationship. It's mostly just Michael bullying and pushing and throwing Evan in all the ways possible. It's been happening since forever. It's normal now and Evan has gotten used to it. Sometimes their father, William Afton, punishes both of them for the trouble they make, especially Michael. That all starts to come to an end though, when Michael feels the need to tell Evan something about him and his closest friend's relationship together. Evan doesn't know how to respond but just question, "The person that has hurt me since my existence feels love towards someone?".
