Ohm, Moon, Chay and Macau sat huddled together in the car.
Ohm had never been in such a large car in his life, or in a car with such plush seating, for that matter, and certainly not in a car that smelled so nice. He was scared to ruin it with the grub of his clothes, but his seat was so soft that he couldn't help but sink into it the moment he sat down.
Macau had ended up sandwiched between Moon and Ohm, whilst Chay sat next to P'Porsche, who held his arm tight around Chay's shoulders, and because this was a seven-seater, next to the driver at the front was Kinn. And the driver was Kim. Ohm was trying not to think about it.

For once, he just wanted the world to repay him in a way he felt was tangible when all his efforts remained unceasing. The world, however, is unflinching in the ways it liked to torment him, and does quite the opposite.
