Not all scars healed when the war ended. When the dust settled and the blood was washed away, what remained was a disproportionate amount of family dysfunction for a demographic that is biologically incapable of reproducing. At thirty-five years old, Darren has barely processed his own childhood trauma when he vows to protect and Darius like nobody ever did for him. But after several incident-free years of traveling with the Cirque together, a sudden act of violence against a young vampet reminds Darren that Steve Leonard's bloody legacy didn't die with him. When Darius loses his sanctuary, he has no choice but to return to Vampire Mountain with his uncle.
NOT a sequel to Bloodline. A spinoff, a companion, a further exploration of all that canon-divergent worldbuilding, even. But not a sequel. I would never inflict that upon the world.

Summary
Darren Shan slowly begins to realize how attracted he is to his vampire mentor, Larten Crepsley, after a night of odd thoughts and and questionable actions. As the two continue to keep this unlabelled and secretive, Darren struggles with feeling disgusted in himself and lying to the people closest to him.
Or,
Darren is a horny teenager who finds Mr. Crepsley to be his crush and the two get closer and closer while Darren is on the edge of his seat, unable to understand his inner desires. This end up with the two alone in a motel (like in Tunnels of Blood) and get sexy time together.
Disclaimer before reading: Dead Dove: Do Not Eat and this is based on my favorite books in the series (book 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5) and Darren's age ranges from 12 to 14. I also try to keep the characters as accurate as possible.

And when everyone shows up except for the one vampire that really *should* be there, Darren doesn’t know what he expected either.
TLDR: what we have here is the lore of the Dirty Chai AU with the energy of The Vampire Files adapted by the Hallmark studio.

I've been a huge fan of "Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant" ( 2009 movie) since the first time I watched it. I adore the characters of Madam Truska and Darren Shan, and I wish we could see more of them. I didn't read the books, I only read some fanfictions involving Larten and Madam T adopting Darren and, since I like writing fanfictions related to spanking, I thought I might give it a try. This is just me trying to write a cute/funny/intense fanfic regarding what I imagine could be their relationship as a family. Reviews are enormously appreciated!I own none of the credits.
