The theatre of a woman is built on deceit. What one says is not another’s belief. The men may play with their knives and swords, but a woman’s game enjoys the subtle art of manipulation and careful observation. You may believe you hold the world, but do you truly?
You have read the odyssey, listened to the musical, but you see it through the eyes of men. But the weavers of fate are women, and so the weaver of the story is not the man before you. Rather, perhaps you must listen to the women behind, who’s strings and threads choke the lives of men, all while you believe in their honeyed smiles and innocent eyes.
There are 5 of whom you will read, a WIFE, a SERVANT, a SISTER, a MENTOR, and a DAUGHTER. Each perspectives and belief more different than the last. But one thing unites them, the story of Odysseus, and the grand manipulation of it that they each hold a thread in.
