Tetsurou wasn’t sure why he was ruminating over it as he slowly walked to class, ignoring the twinge in his ankle and Tooru’s obnoxious voice echoing through his mind. He wasn’t sure why he spaced out entirely as his professor blabbed on, scribbling doodles of owls in the margins of his notebook.
But whatever, the whole thing was pointless and stupid.

Painfully familiar green eyes stared from across the hall. For a moment, Oikawa felt like he was dreaming, like one of those nightmares that’d leave him waking up in a cold sweat even as he mourned losing them to the daylight. Why was Iwaizumi here? And why did he have to be Oikawa’s new roommate?
“Do you two know each other?” Daichi asked.
“We’re childhood best-”
“Yeah, we used to live near each other,” Oikawa cut Iwaizumi off, ignoring the frown his words earned. It wasn’t a lie and it’d been too long for them to still consider themselves best friends. Even if Oikawa’s heart ached at the thought.

After being separated during middle school, Iwaizumi never thought he'd see his childhood best friend Oikawa again. But when he got the notification from his college about rooming assignments and saw a familiar name, Iwaizumi thinks he finally has another chance. Now if only he can avoid alerting his new roommate to the fact that he's a superhero, everything will be ok.
Except Oikawa is also hiding a secret. Donning a mask for more villainous reasons, Oikawa is also desperate to keep Iwaizumi from learning about his alter-ego.

Oikawa Tooru is more than a little bit depressed. Out of a job for weeks now, the unemployment is really making him go through it. None of his friends know, of course. So, of course, they drag him to some concert like normal, functioning friends, but Oikawa is surprised when one of the artists changes the flow of the concert, and more so by how much he falls in love with the angelic singer's voice. Naturally, he doesn't know how to handle it. The only way he knows how is to support his music. But considering how incapable he is of speaking to the beautiful man, it may become detrimental to himself once the singer wants to get to know him.
