Dr. Alexandra Sharring, Audiologist, mentally unstable, and hopeless is stranded on Mars. With no chance at surviving and luck seem to only be getting worse, she's going to have to get used to the idea that she will never get to have the life she really wanted. The bonus? Rooster knows he’s missed out on a lot of changes in Maverick’s life since he pushed his godfather away ten years ago, but he didn’t realize he missed Maverick completely switching government agencies. Not until the day NASA announces that astronaut Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, retired Navy captain and back-up pilot on the Ares III mission, has been left behind on Mars and presumed dead.
