“If you have something to say, stop hiding and just say it,” Alhaitham’s familiar baritone rumbled.
Kaveh let out a squeak and slowly stepped out from behind the pillar. With blood rushing in his ears, he fiddled with his hands as he shuffled forward.. He really shouldn’t be this nervous.
“Well?” Alhaitham asked, his tome resting open on his lap.
“I need a model. For my drawing midterms. Everyone I’ve asked has been busy or just don’t want to sit for me. As a fellow scholar it is your duty to assist in the learning and progress of others. I would certainly help you if you asked and it’s only fair.”
Alhaitham made a face of contemplation and then a moment later, “Sure.”
“It’s okay if… wait, really?!” Kaveh tried to curb his excitement at someone finally saying yes. He couldn’t believe his junior accepted so quickly. His eyes squinted in suspicion. “What’s the catch?”
A smirk twitched on Alhaitham’s lips. “Only one condition. I will read while I sit. My own research cannot fall to the wayside.”
Kaveh’s head tilted side to side lightly. “I can agree to that.”

Summary
Sniffling, Kaveh stood up and led Alhaitham to the sewing room. He was embarrassed at how messy it was, but it didn’t seem like he even noticed. His eyes were trained on Kaveh.
With a sigh, he picked up the remains of his project, cradling it gently. It was still his work, he still loved it. Even if it was worthless.
Alhaitham picked it up, observing it carefully. To be honest, he found nothing wrong. Even as Kaveh explained where the seams were awry and how the fabric was damaged, he couldn’t see the errors. It was lovely.
“How can we fix it?”
“There’s no way I can-”
“I said 𝓌𝑒."

You heard me right: Alhaitham - the bewitching, captivating, drop-dead-gorgeous man who conquered the modelling industry, now having fans from all over the world buckling on their knees. A lucky chance like this would surely free Kaveh from his debt, and the job's easy too! He just has to quickly paint a picture of Alhaitham and the work will be done in a flash, right?
Wrong.
Who knew this guy Alhaitham, the pride and joy of the world, would be such a stubborn, annoying brat! The job wont be going by so fast, and neither will the two's hatred for one another…
