To be completely honest, there was something I hadn’t told anyone about the reason I’d come to Perv to find Aahz and hopefully bring him back home. And when I say that, I do mean anyone: not Tananda or Chumley, who’ve known Aahz forever, and not Massha, my own apprentice. I’m pretty sure Kalvin didn’t know, and he’d figured out a whole lot about me real fast over the course of our time on Perv, most of it stuff that I’d needed to have told to me straight up because I hadn’t managed to work through it myself. Heck, I hadn’t ever even told Aahz.
