Izuku had always been told he couldn’t be a hero. His childhood best friend certainly made sure that was known. Even without a quirk, he thought he could figure something out. He wanted to help people after all. But when your favorite hero tells you that you can’t be a hero, you lose hope in the system. You want to give up. Everyone always reminds you that you won’t be missed if you die, so oftentimes it’s hard to believe that he had a need to stay. But one night, while Izuku is walking home from a convenience store, he sees someone being robbed in an alleyway. He moved without thinking, his mind somehow thinking quick enough to dodge punches from the jerks robbing someone. And next thing he knew, the thugs were knocked out on the ground, and the victim was safe. He was too shocked by himself to do anything else other than urge the victim to call the police, and then he ran away. Days later, after his mind constantly played the incident on loop, he realized that he could still do one thing. He could be a vigilante.

Dabi escaped the League of Villains when Shigaraki killed All For One, releasing Dabi from a mind-altering quirk. Appalled at his past actions, Dabi attempts to atone by fighting against Shigaraki. Izuku Midoriya steps in when he finds Dabi struggling against two nomu, and an unlikely team is formed.
During the final battle with Shigaraki, Dabi and Izuku are thrust back into the past to try to stop the devastation of Japan at Shigaraki hands and maybe forge a new path for themselves.

Things break all the time!
People break...less of the time, but Kintsugi got to do it and she is now just maybe ever so slightly kinda-sorta somewhat insane. It's fine though - she's had ages to get used to being a crazy person, so discovering that she 1. entered a portal at some point and 2. is currently upside down is only a little bit concerning.
Flipping herself rightside up to discover that she's been transported somewhere not only unfamiliar, but also super weird is a bit more concerning, while the agonized screams emanating from the guy pinned beneath the big black bird-thing that just broke both his arms are extremely concerning, so Kintsugi decides to kick it in the face.
Surely there's no way for that to go horribly wrong?
(or: a semi-sane and lovingly repaired girl gets ejected from a mysterious portal directly into the middle of the USJ incident, and makes just a few mistakes.)

Izuku Midoriya was just a normal 4 year old boy who loves heroes. 6 months after his Fourth Birthday, his Quirk hadn't come in yet, so his mother Inko took the boy to the doctor to get a diagnosis. Izuku, after having the tests run on him, is told he does have a Quirk, and at that it's a Quirk Mutation meaning it's totally unrelated to his parents' Quirks. Izuku went home that day happy and went to school the day after even happier, ready to tell his best friend of his Quirk. That friend then proceeded to attack him with his Quirk and left him on the floor. That day, Izuku lost his best friend and as the years passed, he still couldn't figure out what exactly his Quirk is. That is, until his first year in High School, where he had a chance encounter with the Number One Hero that changed his life for the better.
Wanna find out more? Well then my friend, read the story itself. I don't have a schedule for this story outside of "When it's done, it's done", and I do have people proof reading it. That being said, if you notice any grammatical errors, feel free to comment about it and I'll fix it ASAP. First time trying to write a story so keep that in mind.
