Summary
Taking place in 2022, Anyanwu's descendants have become the most powerful of all of Doro's people and some of the more powerful lines of Anyanwu's children are able to act as ooloi and change an individual's biochemistry and act as a mediator in reproduction. While many of Anyanwu's and Doro's descendants believe that their powers should be inherited and used in a more traditional fashion, some attempt to use modern biosciences to change themselves and others. This series primarily follows Alana, a transgender granddaughter of Anyanwu in her journey to find her place in this world. This story diverges from the main cannon after the events of Wild Seed, Doro is still alive but not present in the story.
