Was he actually the only one that had such instructive thoughts?
“I-I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Riku turned his head away. “I’m alright. Just a moment of thinking.”
“Not to be a hawker, but you’ve been zoning out a lot ever since Sora had returned… And it was your excuse for practically all of your errors in training.” Ventus commented. Huh.

Riku’s trauma had taken form into nightmares, and it becomes problematic enough that people start to notice.

Shortly after KH3 released Nomura had this to say:
"I believe that KINGDOM HEARTS III is truly completed when the two thoughts - whatever you feel from playing the game, and my thoughts that I’ve secretly placed in the game - match up together. I hope that everyone playing the game will complete the game for us."
And that was the purpose of this fic. After failing to acquire the power of waking, Sora travels throughout the worlds looking for the Key to Return Hearts. Throughout the story, each of the seven guardians of light will have to face their fears and use the power of waking on someone they love. This retelling of KH3 will focus more on character development, offering a sense of resolution, and less on sequel baiting.

They go after Thanos to try to confront him, but learn there isn't anything they can do to change what he did. But, some time later, a small bout of hope is given to them by a teammate they thought was lost. The Avengers join together one more time to do everything they can to get back what they lost while keeping what they have. They'll do it. Whatever it takes.
