His memories of being the Goblin King are repressed and so too are Sarah's of her journey in the Labyrinth. The two of them, now happily married, have a young family of two daughters. Things are going well until Jareth remembers who he really is and Sarah comes to see that the man she married and started a family with is the very fae who she had battled all those years ago for her baby brother's freedom.

She ran so far, that she convinced herself that everything she experienced was one big delusion of grandeur from her deluded adolescent mind. Instead of dwelling on the past, she focused on the future.
The Goblin King, however, had different plans in store for her.
Plans beyond her wildest dreams were unfolding around her, and unbeknownst to her, she was at the epicenter of a storm that was about to tear her life apart. In this tumultuous journey, Sarah must learn how to survive a world meant to kill her, and how to suffer a broody Goblin King intent on keeping her captive.
Not everything is as it seems in this magical world where fantastical beasts live. Sarah has to learn to read between the lines if she wants to know what the Goblin King truly has in store for her.
