    This is my first foray into fanfiction, so I’d love to hear back from any of you guys about what you think.

    This is not Davey/Spot. The way I see it in this au Spot and Race are already a thing and Jack/Davey are on their way. Although this is not a love story, I just want to make it clear. Race and Jack aren’t actually in the story other than being mentioned.

    I like to see Davey and Spot interacting and getting past their initial dislike of each other and becoming friends. So this is at least the start of that.

    I’m definitely willing to write more of this if people are interested, so please let me know.

    A series of dating tropes each featuring the Larkin kids (Jack, Race, Crutchie, Smalls, Romeo, and Elmer)
    There will be six parts (one for each kid) unless people give me more good tropes to write. The tropes are "I brought my girlfriend to meet my family, but my family thought I was dating my best friend", bringing a fake date to a family event and not developing feelings, bringing a REAL date to a family event but everyone thinks it's fake, "we were best friends, now we're dating, but my family doesn't seem to get that", bringing a fake date to a family event and developing feelings, and "I brought you to a family event as my friend, but my family isn't sure if we're dating or not, and they're too afraid to ask".
    All fics will be in the same universe, obviously, and I'm open to suggestions on ships and plots
