Summary
For no spoilers:
A woman wakes up in an unfamiliar bed, with an unfamiliar face, and an unfamiliar name. In fact, she realizes she doesn't remember anything about herself at all.
For the next year she enjoys the daily life of an unexplainable amnesiac, but a big discovery eventually shakes her entire life as she knows it.
For spoilers:
This story uses an original female Jedi character to show the turmoil and excitement of a friends to enemies to lovers relationship with Ben Solo / Kylo Ren. It's partially a fix-it story with many similarities to the sequel series.
Additional elements include: Friendship and reconnecting with Luke, Leia, Han, and Chewy and creating new friendships with Finn, Poe, and BB-8.

This is a Star wars Rewrite of "The Force Awakens" - with a different main cast and storyline,
An age of peace has ended. The heart of the New Republic, Coruscant was attacked by the New Galactic empire. While saving the next generation of Jedi, Grand Master Luke Skywalker has been captured. To resist the forces of evil, Senator Leia Organa is gathering a force of New Republic remnants to form a new resistance.
Meanwhile the New Galactic Empire is tightening its chokehold on the galaxy, conquering one system at a time. Time is running out for the Jedi still hiding on Coruscant as the dark forces grow stronger…
I decided to keep some of the Disney Main Cast such as Kylo Ren and Poe Dameron, but gave their characters/personalities my own twist.

The Force Awakens Fix-it:
Amilyn and Leia take off to find a counter-measure to the First Order's hyperspace tracking. Unfortunately, the Falcon is the only ship available and tensions are high with Leia and her new partner, Amilyn, back on the same ship with Han and Chewie. Poe gets dragged along becasue after his little mutiny stunt, he can't be trusted out on his own, and Finn ends up coming too becasue, well, what else was he supposed to do. An epic adventure and hijinks ensue as the group races to save the resistance.
Leia headed to the cockpit with Poe following close behind her and took the auxiliary pilot seat behind Han. “Thanks for the lift,” she said dryly.
“Yeah, well I was in the area,” Han shrugged, not bothering to look back at her.
Leia rolled her eyes. “So, did you get your debt settled with King whoever-it-was? I’m not really interested in getting tangled up in any of your leftover rathtar debts right now.”
“Did I not just rescue you from-” Chewie cut Han off with a roar. “Yeah yeah, I know,” he muttered as he began frantically pushing buttons in front of him. “Hey kids,” he called into the comm to the gunning turrets, “we’ve got company!” -

Retrogade: when a celestial object moves in the reverse sense of 'normal' motion.
Sometimes, luck happens in your favor. Sometimes, something survives against all odds, even if it takes a while to get back to how it was and how it should be.
Sometimes, you make it out of something that you shouldn't. Maybe you're a bit damaged, yes, but you get to be with the people you love, after you thought it was all over. Sometimes you get that sweet feeling of taking back your goodbyes or just hugging your family extra hard to make up for all the times you almost didn't.
The Solo-Organa family is very familiar with this.
Ben Solo survived after almost being entirely consumed inside by being Kylo Ren, Leia Organa-Solo survived being thrown into space. Rey Solo survived being kidnapped and sold into practical slavery, even making it back to her family. The Resistance survived the loss of its ships, and almost all of the people who kept it afloat.
What if that's not all that survived?
(A universe in which bad things still happen, and people still struggle, but oftentimes it works out okay. People get to heal. Love, romantic and familial, persists. And above all, sometimes, people get to breathe.)Series
