Summary
Following Maruki’s overhaul on reality, Goro Akechi posthumously reappears and is given another chance: join the Phantom Thieves to defeat Maruki and, most importantly, live another day. The latter is the more difficult task for the man, presumably navigating life in a lonely, fabricated reality and, more often than not, doing so in the arms of his most captivating foe, Akira Kurusu.

Summary
After putting an end to his... hiatus, for lack of a better word, Akechi reunites with the Phantom Thieves to work towards a common goal of reverting their manipulated reality back to its original state. Finding himself spending an excessive amount of time alone with Akira, Akechi is left feeling vexed and endlessly angry over his inability to understand why Akira is so compassionate and forgiving towards him--a murderer.
Akira, of course, is (unintentionally) the cause of most of Akechi's inner turmoil. The littlest things, such as being spoken to softly or touched gently by Akira were enough to send him into a mental spiral of confusion and disconcertion.
Though he would never admit it, perhaps this is what he needed--what he has desired for so long; to be cared for. A connection based on genuinity rather than artificiality.
TL;DR it’s the third semester and akechi and akira are gay as fuck to put it bluntly

Summary
Those that were dead are now alive...What? Those who were grieving are now smiling... This can't be right. Akechi was missing, but now he is back... But that's... not him?
No. No... It's... It's fine.
After all, it's not like Ren Amamiya ever got to know the 'real' Goro Akechi.

If this is the perfect world, then does it really need to be destroyed?
If this is the end of their story, then isn't it okay to indulge in the epilogue?
If this is how we put reality back together, then can't we re-write just one line?

Summary
“What is it? don’t tell me you’re seriously already having second thoughts on all of this.” Akechi’s dry lips then returned to an annoyed frown, but his eyebrows still were furrowed in curiosity. Along with this, he was still listening. “Would you care to take a walk with me? It’s a beautiful night out, isn’t.”

Summary
Goro Akechi was a man of action, this night didn't differ from any other. As usual, he had a goal. Riding the train to Yongen-Jaya, he mulls over what he would do if, no, when he came face-to-face with Maruki. Would he punch him? Curse him? It’s no use. What about Ren? Will he come out of that cafe getting what he wants or is he going back to square one? You never know until you get there.

Summary
Akechi's eyes scan the length of Joker's body. Those cherry-red gloves are like a siren. Leading him into treacherous waters. Akechi grits his teeth. Joker shone brighter than that demon jewel Akechi stumbled upon yesterday. Maybe it was just the sweat running down his cheeks? Whatever it was made him look radiant. The way his messy curls fell in his eyes, dark against the bone white of his mask.
Those charcoal gray eyes. Akechi thinks they'd look even more dazzling up close. He knew Joker's voice was deep, rich and velvety. Somehow smooth and rough at the same time. Clear and commanding.

Summary
He needs to leave this place, run somewhere, and save his apology to Morgana in the morning. He will figure something out in the course of running, because his mind will somehow think of a better solution in processing the cruel truth of his heart.
Or maybe not.
Leaning right next to a closed antique store at two in the morning is Goro Akechi. Unchanging, save for how he lets his cigarette fall before he crushes it with his heel.

Summary
Akira chose to be selfish about Goro. Since they met he kept choosing this - kept choosing to meet up, even though he knew about Morgana's suspicions; kept choosing to get closer to him despite Goro working against them; kept choosing to let him in and serve him information that would put him and his friends in danger. No matter what happened, he kept going back to Goro, kept taking every bite the other would offer, even if it was poisoning him. After all, he did end up taking a bullet for him and he didn’t regret it for even a second.
This though, this he is regretting.Akira has been selfish, but he was choosing to fix it now. He was going to undo this mistake.

Summary
It is true that since the actualization of Dr. Maruki's reality, nothing is quite the same. The sun seems to shine brighter each day. The economy is bustling. One seems to be able to find luck at every corner. Akira knew everything would change once he struck the deal with Maruki that night at Leblanc, which leaves the question why he didn't; while all of the former Phantom Thieves have seemingly adapted to their new lives, Akira feels as if he has been left behind.
Seeking out Dr. Maruki in the world which he created is a decision he's not sure he won't regret. It appears, however, that he is not the only one who needs companionship.
