Summary
After getting caught in the Calefactory Biangle and dragged through Hell, Maxwell is fine.
Genuinely fine. He’s been resting, and eating three square meals a day, and “talking about his emotions” or whatever bullshit Olethra’s been talking about. He bought a journal, for fuck’s sake. He has yet to use it, but still. Everyone agrees that Maxwell’s been on the mend.
The visions that plague him every time he closes his eyes have absolutely nothing to do with that.
Or: Maxwell has a nightmare, a cup of tea, and learns to lean on his family, in that order.

Summary
When Fehujar returns to deliver their second notice of Comfrey Macleod’s outstanding debts, Freyja seizes her chance to step up and become The Main Guy. To her delight, her new shipmates all support her when it counts.
Maybe a bit too much, in some cases.
But surely she can convince her mother that she’s negotiated a lasting merger that will prove to be an asset.

Summary
The automata of Zern, having been freed from one invading mind, now face countless more. The people of Gath, still unaware of the Braid, face a rash of occult phenomena. Those residing within Zood, having chosen honor and sacrifice, face an unprecedented hardship. Blanketing them all: rain.
Not long after the final battle against Straka, Torse's homeworld is besieged by a torrential downpour and his people begin succumbing to possession by the restless dead. His only solace, as he and his comrades search for the Corrodi remnants they believe to be the culprits, is the crystal telephone Marya had gifted him before they parted.
He soon learns that telephone- or maybe hearing his friends' voices- is key to protecting himself from possession. Perhaps, with the aid of Maxwell and Marya's beloved protégés, Torse can discover the key to breaking the curse drowning three planets.

Summary
Torse had only been gone for a few days, which maybe wasn't long enough to warrant a very desperate, drawn-out reunion — but in very short order, Maxwell felt the fires of desire take hold of him, deep down in gut. He immediately stopped caring about what they "should" be feeling and started clawing hungrily at Torse's frame, which was still hot from overexertion.
It seemed that Torse agreed. His hands wrapped around Maxwell's waist, and suddenly, Torse was lifting him out of bed.
“Woah!”

Summary
After the events of Outward Passed Beyond, Torse and Maxwell meet after six months apart. But it's not what either of them were hoping for.
___Torse knows his escapement gives away his delight at seeing Maxwell, but he can’t be bother to care. He’s sure he looks ridiculous, smiling and venting steam, but seeing Maxwell’s face again after months is so relieving.
“Maxwell. You’re here!” Torse says.
“There you are… Welcome back, Torse.” Maxwell says so softly, just for him.
A trickle of blood runs from the corner of his mouth down his scruffy chin.
Torse’s heart trips and clicks against something lodged in his chest.

Summary
Maxwell had mentioned, briefly, his face a wonderful shade of red, his occasional tendency for dreams more sexual in nature. He never said Torse had to leave when he had them. Maxwell made a little noise again, his mouth open slightly. Torse wanted to feel it pressed against him, warm and wet. Maxwell was saying something, Torse realized, his lips shakily forming words. Against his better judgement, Torse leaned in to listen.
