When the has team successfully have a new highest floor in their record they decided to end it there when the next floor was hella difficult. One by one they all died leaving Yohoo (playing as astro) behind. And soon enough they died. Seeing the memorable wrap up screen they decided to teleport back to the lobby. But suddenly they blacked out and woke up in the lobby in dandy's world? Not as any of the original toons nor as an oc?! But as a human? This body doesn't even look like them in real life! Why are they wearing a weird ass uniform? How the fuck would they survive in a horror game?!
Or... An astro player died and woke up in dandy's world as a human AND the body doesn't EVEN look like them!

Shrimpo, tired of the nagging and the annoying complaints on how he isn't helpful on runs, decides to do a solo Expedition. This however, caused by his pride and arrogance, starts a Dandy run unknowingly, as he ignores and eventually angers Dandy. Unfortunately he is killed, but not left alone by Dandy. Struck by pitiful words that Shrimpo had spewed in his final moments, Dandy decides to give him a purpose, bringing him back and forcing him to work along his side. Of course Shrimpo is reluctant, a lot of problems and trouble stirring between the two as they begin unintentionally getting close to eachother. On the other hand, Goob, Shrimpos closest friend grows worried and begins searching for Shrimpo, soon discovering where his friend may have gone..

through his procedure, though, old wounds spring open as new ones mend
______this initially began as an art trade from a friend and ended up as more than what i had initially planned
few things to keep in mind before reading:
- this was written around seven-eight months ago and is rather outdated in terms of lore & toons
- i'm not a dandy's world lore keeper so i might get things wrong
- this is my first fanfiction so i apologize if the quality isn't mega amazing or anything
- i may not finish this. if i do then I'll likely rewrite everything to improve the quality up to my present standards -

Maybe we would've all been fine if Dandicus hadn't participated in that lab experiment with Delilah and Arthur.. No one would've gotten hurt, no one would have lost someone they cared for, there's no one to blame but HIM.
We all knew Dandy would be the reason something bad happens, he was always so close to Arthur and Delilah— And after they'd left us abandoned in this horrendous building, HE has been acting off.. strange.. not like the silly little flower that'd go "Oh Golly!" In the most serious situations.
How did any of this happen? We're still unaware, we can only hope he'll slip up one day . .
