Summary
If God never made mistakes, why did he make it impossible to feel his love? The warmth people speak of had only ever sent a frigid chill down his spine, and a sick feeling in his heart. The urge to feel the Lord’s love left Regulus with a soiled feeling. He would never be clean.
March 12th was the day Sirius escaped, and the day Regulus realized he can never be who he wants to be. Only one of them could be the sinner.

James is the Sun, and Barty is nowhere near the sky. He is a cold-blooded snake shifting between blades of grass. His warmth ended eons ago, along with the separation between him and his mother. Barty is aware that he’s not what Regulus needs, nor what he deserves. Beneath his sarcastic exterior, Regulus is just as bright as his namesake. Not many people see him for who he truly is, who he deserves to be. Especially Potter.
