The Express is getting ready for the jump to Amphoreus; it’s always exciting getting to know that we’ll meet a new cast of people in the universe. Dan Heng is sitting next to me and I feel my lungs heave, he’s the source of this. I know he is, but it’s just a small crush. It’ll go away and I’ll be completely fine. “Are you excited, Caelus?” Asked Himeko. “You and Dan Heng, on your first trip without me or Welt.”
“It’s exciting, it’s sad we won’t have March though.” I say, speaking softer than usual so as to not hurt my aching throat.
“Caelus, are you okay? Your voice is much more hoarse and you seem pale. March told me she heard you coughing in the bathroom.” Dan Heng asked, worried. They can’t be worried about me, I’m fine, but… everytime Dan Heng speaks, it’s like his words make this entire disease worse.
These flowers... would be the end of Caelus's life, yet an end of his suffering.

“You seem like you’re in a trance.” Stelle said, Caelus sat up, getting out of the dazed state he was in. “You seem off, something is on your mind but you're not telling anyone.”
“Don’t call me out like that.” Caelus laughed softly, smiling through the thoughts and feelings he knows he has, he just doesn’t want to admit it. “It’s… Nothing.”
“Oh please, I know it’s not nothing, so just tell me. I won’t tell anyone on the express, pinky promise.” Stelle called him out again, then put her pinky up.
“Fine.” Caelus said, putting his pinky on Stelle’s pinky and squeezing. “It’s about Dan Heng. It's like everytime he crosses my mind, or looks at me, it eats away at my brain. I’ll be doing something that doesn’t remotely even involve him, and poof! He’s in my brain and I can’t get him out.” Caeus rambles, then he gets onto the more serious part, “Everytime he crosses my mind I think about how I feel about him, how anytime I see him he brightens my day, how every love song I hear I relate it to him, how everything I see I somehow find the same beauty in him.” Stelle took a moment, digesting everything he said.
“You sound like you’re in love.” Stelle admitted, smiling.

Probably something so wrong that one of the three Aeons intertwined with this world is probably gonna glance at him experiencing another near-death or actual death situation and get himself a new ability from THEIR Path. Because that’s just how it seems to have always gone.
