An actual, physical sensation in his stomach that makes him almost want to hiccup, because it was the last thing he was expecting despite Claire insisting he came to meet her new friend.
Big blue eyes, dirty blond hair, a soft face with baby cheeks that he felt like biting for some stupid reason, he hasn't been hit so hard with a desire to know somebody in years.

Summary
⤳ 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘: What to do when your child is sick and needs treatment, but that treatment is expensive and you don't have many alternatives and end up resorting to the most dangerous and risky method? This is what Piers did, solely to help save the life of his four-year-old son, who discovered he had leukemia and needed long and expensive treatment. Without having much money and other more viable options, he ends up asking Marc, a dangerous guy affiliated with a mafia that lent him a high amount of money that he had to pay every month with interest, but he knew that with the money he earned from the BSAA would not fully the payments. That's when one of his best friends suggests an unusual second job to Piers: working at a strip club, as one of the dancers would leave for another country and they needed someone to replace and dance in the club sporadically. The young man initially thinks this is crazy and rejects the idea, but later accepts on the condition that he presents himself with a mask to hide his identity from everyone, especially BSAA. What he doesn't expect is that he would catch Chris' attention with his character, but this whole story could render a headache for both of them, especially for Piers.

With a more cynical and snarkier but more laid back Piers we try and delve into the thoughts of somebody thrust into a spiralling situation they didn't ask to be in. He will just have to make the best of it.This story will try and explore my take on how Piers could fit into RE8.

"Heisenberg?!" Ethan lowers his gun, feeling suddenly, horribly tired. "What the hell are you doing here?"
"Nice to see you too, Ethan." Ethan's first name practically drips out of Heisenberg's mouth. He's been using a dinner plate as an ashtray, Ethan notices—the kind of minor detail the mind focuses on in moments of extreme stress (god, he's probably lucky the bastard bothered to find himself an ashtray at all).
But Heisenberg's still talking: "Dropped by, you weren't home, so I let myself in. Wouldn't want me loitering around your porch, bringing down the neighbourhood, would you?"
Ethan grits his teeth. He'd actually forgotten just how annoying Heisenberg could be. "Which still doesn't explain what the hell you're doing here."

"Guilt tore through his chest like a bullet. Like he had done this somehow, like his wishing had brought about this shift in reality. Chris knew he had to be true to his word. Had to protect Piers from whatever might come next."
Piers wakes up in a hospital bed, disoriented and not himself. His body is different, forever changed. Chris is there to help him through it. He may be in way over his head, but that doesn't stop him from stepping down from the BSAA and taking them both far away from all of this. He owes Piers that much, after everything.

Leon watched as Chris unclasped his hands and raised his head. His eyes grew sharper and his jaw tightened, hands balling into fists again. Leon flinched. Whatever Chris had been thinking about had only calcified his anger.
Chris looked at Leon with something that Leon didn’t recognize and didn’t want to. Like sharp anger but with soft, plush edges.
“Jesus Christ, man.” He pushed a hand through short chestnut brown hair, a sharp exhale leaving his nose. “I stood there and I fucking defended you while you were out fucking around. Did you know that?”--
In which Leon Kennedy is an unstoppable force, swinging wildly between temptation and safety. Not because he wants to be unstoppable, but because he'll crumble under the weight of adrenaline withdrawals if he finds the time to stop. He finds out the hard way that Chris Redfield is an immovable object, especially when it comes to his sister.

There was a cat hybrid in the corner of the cell, sprawled on the cold stones. His face was covered with dirt, his chest barely moving. He looked almost dead. His wrists were chained to the bars, Chris noticed. His thoughts were interrupted when the guide approached him.
“Oh, that one’s not up for adoption; he’s too sick. The vet will come by and take him down this afternoon.”
Chris gasped, turning slowly toward the man. He must have heard wrong.“Take... take him down?”
“Yeah. Like I said, he’s too sick. He’ll be dead in a week or two anyway, and we don’t want the others to get infected! Plus, it would be less painful for him, too. It’s really the best option for everyone.” The man said it so casually, like he was talking about the weather and not killing a person.
“I’ll take him. I’ll… I want to adopt this one.” The words jumped out of Chris’s mouth before he knew it.
