Reo reads and rereads the letter until he's committed it to memory. There's something giddy bubbling to life under his skin. He turns to Nagi. "It's another love letter! Another one!" Reo tells him, shaking him insistently by the shoulder.
Nagi doesn't look up from his phone. "Wow," he says.
Reo elbows him. He flattens the letter out against his thigh, under the sunlight, so he can admire it for a little longer. He adds, "It's not signed. I wonder who it's from."
"Yeah," Nagi sighs. "I wonder."

“Reo?” He asks. “What’s wron–”
Reo grabs Nagi’s face, pulls it towards him, and kisses him, square on the lips.
When Reo pulls back, Nagi can only look at him, eyes wide. Nagi gently puts his hands on Reo’s cheeks to pull him back in, but is stopped by two palms on his chest.
“Wait.. no–” Reo shakes his head. “I’m not– gay–... I don’t–”
“Shhh, Reo– It’s okay, it’s fine, it’s just practice, it doesn’t mean anything.” The words sting his throat as they come out. A blatant lie.
Reo, seemingly satisfied with the answer, pulls Nagi in for another kiss, this time, more gentle. The kind of kiss lovers have, or a married couple straight off their honeymoon. Nagi lets himself imagine for a bit.

Reo Mikage is decidedly not gay. Even if he kisses another guy, it's not gay. It's just practice, and it's not like he'd fall in love with a guy anyway, even if it was Nagi.
