Summary
The Swiss National League doesn’t care about the legendary Hollander-Rozanov rivalry. When the MLH can’t negotiate with the Hockey Players’ Union in time to prevent a hockey lockout at the start of the 2015 season, the Zürich Lions jump at the chance to sign both Shane and Ilya to short-term contracts. For four months in Switzerland, they share a team, a line, a house, and a bed.
Then the lockout ends in January, and it’s time to go back. Back to different countries, cities, lives. Beds.
Reentry is harder than expected.

Summary
Shane couldn't be suicidal, so he wasn't.
One episode after being drafted didn't count. Neither did the one after his first Cup win.
It was only a problem if Shane let it be.

Summary
“He’ll never forget anything about their first night. Or any night he shared with Ilya. Every detail has been etched into him. Without them, he wouldn’t recognize himself. Without them he was blank.
Stop thinking about Rozanov. Fuck.
He seeks new memories. New… etches.
So when future archeologists dig up his bones they won’t read them like a love letter to Ilya Rozanov.
Shane knows it’s risky.
But he doesn’t know that tonight he won’t be etched, he’ll be broken.”
When Shane hooks up with a stranger after a game, he thinks the worst that could happen is getting outed. He is wrong. What was meant to be a night to forget all about Ilya Rozanov, becomes a night when he needs him most.
