Summary
One year ago, Ryuji Sakamoto, an up and coming photographer for the travel agency Metaverse, was paired up with the coworker he hated for a last-minute Christmas assignment. Ryuji never thought he would fall for Akira, nor that his feelings would be matched by the other man. Through many trials, the two of them somehow became a couple.
To celebrate Christmas, and their first anniversary, they've planned a trip to Ryuji's hometown to spend time with friends and family over the holidays. Only Ryuji's been roped into another last minute assignment for work, and Akira has accidentally invited his homophobic grandparents to the party. Nothing is going according to plan, and they'll have to be apart while they sort everything out.
Will they be able to come together to make the holidays happen? Or will their Christmas end in C R I S I S?

Summary
Ryuji’s two years out of graduating from the Colony Defense Force program, and unable to land a job, when one suddenly lands in his lap. Not in his field as a fighter pilot, but instead as an ambulance driver for AMES, the Alliance of Medical Emergency Services. If he does well, he can put in for a transfer. With a disciplinary mark on his record, this might be his last chance to land a job working in deep space. He struggles to follow the chain of command, and doesn't shine academically, but he's good at ships. He knows how to fly them, build them, repair them. It’s the only reason he was able to get into the program in the first place. It’s the only thing he’s good at.
Ryuji is surprised when someone takes notice, especially when that someone is Commander Akira Kurusu. The man is considered a hero. He was there during the fall of Shido, when the entire planet was wiped off the map. Now he’s a walking poster child for AMES. He leads a specialized team that travels from planet to planet, offering aid where it's needed. It’s the complete opposite of everything Ryuji was trained to do, but he’s finding it impossible to say no. Especially when he’s going to be serving under such an attractive commander.

Summary
