Summary
Giyu dies. At least, he thinks he did. Yet here he is, standing in a strange place he doesn't recognise, with a certain achingly familiar face.
---
Or, your average SabiGiyu "Giyu dies and wakes up in a different timeline where Sabito is alive" fic, with a slight twist.
---
Not really on hiatus or off, but a secret third thing: I update whenever I feel like it. Sorry.

“So you’re supervising basket—”
“How’s your new cl—”
Zhou Shen buries his face in his hands and Jackson can’t help but burst out laughing, crossing his arms on the table as Zhou Shen’s shoulders shake.
“I’m sorry,” Zhou Shen gasps, “It’s so awkward— I’ve never—”
Jackson shakes his head with a grin. The tension breaks and reforms.
When Ning-laoshi is away on course, Zhou-laoshi subs in for her Chinese class while Vice-principal Wang supervises Basketball in her stead. The student body takes interest.

Summary
Tomioka Giyuu dreamed of his own death for the first time when he was four years old. His view of the sky was blocked by a boy he didn't know with red hair and eyes in a uniform he didn't recognize with blood in and around his mouth holding his body that felt much too big to belong to him. All he knew for certain was that he cared deeply for this person even as he bled out in their arms, dying because of them.
He did not stop dreaming as he grew older, but the nightmares only became more and more varied.
In the week leading up to his sister's wedding, he dreamed of her death nearly every night. He said nothing, afraid to speak it into existence.
This was a mistake.
He will not make it again.

Summary
In hindsight, Sanemi shouldn't be surprised. The only reason why Oyakata-sama allowed these two idiots to operate as the twin Water Pillars was because they shared their last and only brain cell. Now Sanemi gets to see what they really are like when they're drunk, and it’s complete torture for him to hear every hiccupped laugh from Giyuu’s mouth, how Sabito’s voice excessively deepens in a ridiculous attempt to assert masculine dominance, and—now the two idiots have started their mating dance.

Summary
“I-I’m sorry, I thought Urokodaki would have told you—”
“We don’t talk.” Giyuu said tightly. He turned on his heel and began to walk away.
Though he sounded angry, he wasn’t. Rather the cruelty in his tone was a desperate and not all that successful attempt at hiding the emotions that, unlidded first by Tanjiro on the bridge and now by his own memories, rising to overwhelm him. The scarred wound where his heart should be was torn open again, the nerves exposed, and Tanjiro’s gentle heart-string pulling had abruptly become a violent yank on the exposed ends. He’s seen him? He’s met him? Trained with him?
Is he still there?
--
After finding out Tanjiro has trained with his beloved lost friend on Mt. Sagiri, Giyuu can't help but return to his sensei after nearly eight years apart to try to find Sabito himself. While digging through his memories of the brief, horrible few weeks after Sabito's death, chasing a ghost, Giyuu finds more than one.
