Summary
Most of Riley Andersen's secrets are locked away in The Vault, so that Riley, and only Riley, can know about them. But some secrets are so shameful they're kept somewhere else - far away in the back of the mind in a little town called Denial, where even Riley doesn't know about them.
One such secret is Valentina Ortiz. She has a plan to escape Denial and uncover a complex web of corruption in Riley's mind, and, in doing so, help Riley discover things about herself she has long repressed.
Opening old wounds is painful, but it may be the only way for Riley to uncover her own complex web of corruption out in the real world.

“I know we did,” Anxiety said slowly, confused. “I… I didn’t order this projection.”

Eight years after the Last Battle, something incredibly expected happened: a child was born to two very ordinary and alive parents in rural Cairhien. At an initial glance, one would precisely nothing interesting about this child. When she was born, the Pattern didn't twist or tear in response to her weight. The Wheel didn't grind to a stop, the Dark One would have felt no need to offer an opinion even if he wasn't bound outside of reality. One incorrect assumption was made about her at birth, however, which was that she was her parents' second son. Her mother's midwife is not to be blamed, after all how was she, a non-channeler, supposed to identify this child as a door to the infinite, torrential force of saidar. Thus began the life of a very unique Aes Sedai of the White Tower, whose actions would change the direction of the Fourth Age.
