"Good tell me on the ride home. We're leaving." Damon grabs my arm roughly, pulling her me towards the exit. His fingers dig into the skin and I already know it's going to bruise.
"Touch her again and I'll do more then put a pencil in your throat." Elijah says calmly, appearing next to me, his arm around my waist as he pulls me away from Damon. He's angrier now, I can see it in the way his jaw tenses.
"Sure, whatever. Elena come here we're-leaving."
I sigh deeply as I shake my head. "No, Damon im not a dog." I barely finish my sentence before he's grabbing my arm again, his fingers digging in even deeper than before.
"Then don't be a bitch."
After the ball Elijah takes Elena away from the Salvatore brothers and requests she stay at the mikaelson mansion for her safety. His siblings seem to ease into the idea more and more as the time goes by.

“I’m disappointed.”
My eyes widen in shock as I look up. Gabriel. He’s here. He’s here in my house on earth.
“Disappointed?” I ask, my voice wavering.
He makes a humming sound in the back of his throat as he walks closer to me. Every step he takes forward, I take a step back until my back hits a wall and his hands are on either side of my head. His face a few inches from mine.
“I thought it would be a nice surprise to come with you to visit Earth but imagine my surprise when I saw you in that filthy bookshop with a demon and a traitor… I’m so disappointed in you, darling.”
I shake my head and look down, hiding the tears in my eyes but he grabs my chin between his fingers, tilting my face up, forcing me to look into his eyes. He tuts when he sees my face and a tear runs down my cheek.
“Are you crying because I’m disappointed in you. Does my opinion of you matter that much? What I think of you?”
I want to answer but I’m scared if I speak my voice will break and more than one tear will fall from my eyes, so I nod.
His lips crash against mine, his hand gripping my chin, cups the back of my neck while his other hand wraps around my waist, pulling my body flush against his.
