Garak gives Julian a gift. It’s a knock off. It’s one of a kind.
It was the first time they had managed to sit down together since their return from the internment camp, and things were still… delicate between them, to put it mildly. Julian hadn’t been in a mood for shared meals in the wake of his recent starvation diet, and Garak, who was deep in his own peculiar mourning period, certainly wasn’t going to bridge the gap himself. And then there was the most recent disaster with his parents, lying unacknowledged between them like a dead Cardassian bastard.
Or, perhaps not.
