Galen had let go. The exact moment that he chose not to kill the clone that showed Juno's face. And failed again when he didn't kill Vader where he knelt, defeated. Again.
So perhaps he wasn't a true Sith. He needed to learn what the Jedi were before saying he wasn't one of those entirely either. -

Summary
The last half of the 'Battle of Heroes' in Revenge of the Sith. I just had a small statement run though my head when watching the re-release of the movie in theaters: 'I could not stop watching. I hoped and prayed that it took him - that it wouldn't have to be my hand that killed him.' So I basically transcribed the last few scenes with some extra thoughts on Obi-Wan's side.

Summary
The War Doctor became the war doctor to do what must be done - end the Time War. He knows that both the Daleks and the Time Lords would never stop, both believe they are right, and have the means to destroy the entire universe, one, or all of them. So he steals the Moment. And he kills his people.
I only vaguely remember the plot to the 50th anniversary special and just want to write something but don't have the brainpower to write original fiction and I've been reading this really long dr who fic so I'm in the dr who mood. Enjoy, or don't.

Summary
This is an unfinished retelling of the story of Galen Marek, the protagonist of The Force Unleashed video games. It takes liberties with the original story, only featuring a few of the characters and changing plenty of the plot beats. Consider it a reboot if you like: it takes the basic premise and runs with it.
I wrote this about 5 years ago and only recently was encouraged to share it here. As such, I don't really expect to return to it, but if it garners enough interest (if more than 3 or 4 people can stomach ~80 pages of my questionable writing!) I might have to set aside some time to write some more. This version has only the first few setup chapters before anything really gets going, so there's certainly much more story to tell, I just don't know if it's worth my effort. Let me know!

Zuko was fifteen. When he arrived at the Southern Water Tribe. He had one shot at fixing everything that had gone wrong in his life. And it was to find the Avatar. He was responsible for his little sister's death, so if he should die on the journey it would only be fair.
Imagine how he felt when the same little sister who had fallen into the Arctic waters at the age of six, stared up at him from the snow with anger in her eyes.
