“DOZER!” The brune boy called out amidst the heat and falling debris, fighting through the blaze to reach the bedroom on the upper floor. Every step was careful but reckless at the same time, as his gaze locked onto the top of the stairs and on the white door, where a moon charm was hung. He yelled the name several times, slowly choking on the smoke.
It was not long after when some wooden steps broke off, almost sending the kid to a pit of fire below. Before he could be hit with a plank on fire that came from above, a flash of pink swatted it away.
“What are you doing standing there?!” a cheeky girl stood beside him, her weapon being a swirling lollipop.
Upon closer look on her confident posture, the rise and fall of her chest was uneven, her simple ponytail had many tangled stands of hair, and many bruises littered on the legs. “Come on!”
GingerBrave nodded, reaching out to the door handle that kept him and his brother apart.

It has been at least three years since the banishment of Oven Wanderer Cookie and Ice Mage Cookie from one of the largest fortresses against the zombie apocalypse. And both of them are living just fine: they have a house, adopted some pets and ocassionally hunt someone unlucky who wandered a bit too far into their territory.
Except they are both zombies now, so communication is kinda lacking (lie, Ice Mage Cookie is too patient) when one has brain damage.
