Summary
After what happened at Korolevskiy Theater, things went back to normal, as normal as they could make it to be. They don’t have a choice. The world does not stop moving on its axis simply because they experienced the Curse of Death momentarily.
Alyosha goes back to his usual routine of hunting and working part-time at the theater. And as normal as any day in Snezhnaya, week-long blizzards storm by to set him back a few paces, leaving him short of budget. While trying to scrounge enough money, he meets Mitya a couple of times. To be fair, they haven’t talked much before, if they had at all. But Mitya seems to be acting weird around him, and when Alyosha goes to his house one day to deliver a gift from Vodyanitsa, he is met by an attack.Bookmarked by Alezierre

Alyosha laughed, turning his head a little bit to rest his cheek against the crown of her own head. "I'm not, believe me! It's just that…sometimes I really can't believe it, you know?"
Truth be told, she couldn't believe it either most of the time.
Odette finds Alyosha smoking in Mitya's kitchen in the middle of the night, plagued by the too good to be true reality of his life because of the three of them.

Summary
Mitya asked for a vacation. After all, working non-stop couldn't be good for anyone, right?
The problem is that nobody explained to him that those vacation days came with a condition: staying away from anything related to his job to prevent him from thinking too much about Death and, consequently, triggering his curse.
Now Mitya deeply regrets having asked for time off. He can't work, he can't investigate, and, even worse, he has nothing to do. And for someone with an hyperactive mind like his, boredom is almost torture.
His friends, determined to keep him busy before his own mind turns into a problem, have a mission: to find an activity capable of distracting Mitya enough to keep the Curse of Death at bay.
How hard can it be?
