“No,” Ice responded instantly. Before they moved in together, the only person that ever came to his house was currently sitting half on top of him and panting, looking absolutely fucked out despite the fact that they were both still fully clothed. Neither he nor Maverick tended to have guests over, more than content with keeping their socializing with others limited to the O-Club and lunch breaks. “Well, I told you Sarah’s visiting for a few days, but that’s not until Sunday.”

Summary
Iceman was being weird. He had spent the night at Maverick’s house off base, but left silently before Maverick had a chance to wake up. That alone wasn’t entirely unusual, though it had been happening with decreasing frequency. It was his behaviour at work that had Maverick questioning Ice’s health.
He was restless, always fidgeting with his beloved pen and bouncing his leg with a frankly impressive speed, and his gum chewing was extra obnoxious. He also had a slight tremor in his hands when he stepped in front of the TOPGUN class to explain a maneuver that didn’t go away.-Or-
Iceman tries to suffer silently, but Maverick won't let him.
