Summary
Disoriented from the move into an almost racially divided ghetto, Anon ends up accidentally heading to school the day before it opened and getting caught by the absolute caveman of a principal before he could rectify that mistake. Thank Raptor Christ he did. Getting stuck in 'music' might have been worth the easy credit, but he'd probably have to perform in front of other people. Fuck that. Thankfully he got into something a bit more his speed, like computer sciences! The class should be a breeze and give him an excuse in pirating anime off the school's wi-fi.
Too bad that it turns out there's a really weird saurian in the class who everyone seems to give a ten foot radius of space, and unfortunately for Anon the only open seats are within that ten feet of space.
So what happens when two hurt people meet? Sometimes something good, sometimes something horrible. For Anon and Hunter? Maybe the two of them can teach each other that the world's not so cold and cruel as they had been taught. But cruelty still exists, and it's rarely passive. Can Anon keep his head as he deals with someone who's probably more of a asshole than he is, especially as something wicked comes to Volcaldera?

Mous is a recently made E-5 sergeant in the United States army, being heavily mocked and ridiculed has reduced the human into a life of social apathy and avoidance of others, he was thrusted into military life by his father right out of high school. After having been moved around many times in his relatively uneventful army career until finally he was stationed in his last location. Volcaldera. With only 3 years left of an unenthusiastic service to the armed forces, he doesn't have much time left before he's back to the civilian world. In the meantime, he should probably figure out what he's gonna do with the rest of his life...if he ever bothers getting that far.
Perhaps a chance of fate will be just what this bald skinnie needs to pick the reigns of his life back up once more?
