Peter’s eyes flutter closed briefly, overwhelmed by the sensation and the charged atmosphere. “You’re incorrigible. You know that?”
Wade’s hand continues its languid path, her tone playful yet edged with genuine desire. “Guilty as charged. But come on, Peter. How often do we get moments like this? Just us, no interruptions. If we don’t take advantage of it, we’ll regret it. It doesn’t have to mean anything.”
Peter’s heart races, her resolve wavering as she meets Wade’s intense gaze. She wanted it to mean something though, and that was why she never went for it. She frowns, “We live together, this isn’t a good idea, it could get complicated.”
Wade’s smile turns mischievous, her fingers brushing teasingly higher against Peter’s skin. “And they were roommates! We’re big girls, Parker, I’m not hearing a no by the way. If you really don’t want to, I’ll drop it and never bring it up again.”
Wade goes to pull her hand away but Peter is lightning quick– catching her wrist, eyes wide. Damn it.
“I didn’t say no.”
