    The Good Prince is a man as patient as he is terrifying; and Mydei fears, with each passing day of captivity, that no-one would be strong enough to weather this endless cruelty and escape with their body and mind intact.

    He certainly isn't.

    This is both the best and the worst fanfic I have ever read (in the sense that I usually read more tame stuff) and I’m here for all of it. Author needs to get paid you write like a god. I think I’m going insane, I keep checking if this fanfic has been updated at least EVERY DAY. OMFG THEY UPDATED AND THE CHAPTER WAS SO PEAK. Mydei is lowkey going through the five stages of grief, I love depiction of psychological torture it’s just so horribly good.
    HOLY SHIT it's the final chapter, I'm so excited for this but kinda scared and I can't read it in public aaaaaa
